Jazz on Tap
An intimate Sunday evening of live jazz at Taste Full Beans — the longest-running jazz night in Western North Carolina, going strong since 2000.
About the Series
Jazz on Tap is the longest running jazz night in Western North Carolina — 26 years and counting. Since 2000, jazz lovers have gathered to hear quality jazz of all flavors, with rotating musicians each month from 6–8 PM.
The series now calls Taste Full Beans home in downtown Hickory, where it has run since February 2023. It may look a little different than it did from 2000–2020 — a new location, and scaled back to once a month — but it still caters to the jazz enthusiast who enjoys world-class jazz from musicians from around the state.

Starting in 2027: admission at the door will be $15, and the season grows to 9 Jazz on Tap concerts.
Jazz on Tap is hosted by the Hickory Jazz Society, the area’s new stewards of live jazz. Featured musicians for each month are listed on the calendar below.
At Taste Full Beans
Taste Full Beans offers table service and a special Jazz on Tap food menu, along with beer, wine by the glass or bottle (specially selected for the event), coffee, specialty teas, smoothies, and more.
